Ace’s Allergic Reaction
Ace had an allergic reaction to something this week and I had to take him to the vet for treatment. His poor little snout was swollen up and he was in obvious discomfort. The Vet gave hime a couple of shots and some antibiotics to fight against infection. He was pretty miserable but by the next morning he seemed as good as new. I have no idea what caused the reaction but the Vet suspected something like a spider bite. You can see where it started oozing after he scratched and pawed at it all morning. You never know what kind of trouble puppies are gonna get into.
my GLP nose swelled up the same on the 16th Jan after a walk in cemetery and the vet(in UK) said it was a scorpion or snake bite, however there was no entry wound three weeks later it has gone down and there is a small white mark that has just appeared. I wish they could talk.
Ace has a little white spot on his face now too. It would be nice to know what set him off. He seems just fine now.
Oh my goodness, i was surprised when i saw this picture becuase i have a Great Dane and his snout looks exactlythe same just he never scratched at it, it was from a bee sting that he was apparently allergic too so he had an allergic reaction and also has a rash on his chest that seemed to be moving through his system to little bumps on his back and he was drooling clear liquid which was strange but i figured he wasn’t eating either with a snout lookin like a balloon!
